Derek Dietrich

Derek brings extensive experience raising capital for private equity, infrastructure, energy, private credit and real estate funds. Derek has been working in the fund placement industry for thirteen years and has worked with some of the leading Private Fund Sponsors, raising capital for more than 30 separate fund opportunities.

Prior to Bridge Haven, Derek was a Partner at First Avenue where he was the Head of Real Assets. Derek was previously a Managing Director at Fortress Investment Group in New York, as well as a Senior Vice President in the Private Fund Marketing Group at Lehman Brothers. Prior to joining Lehman Brothers, Derek acted in a similar role in Deutsche Bank’s Alternative Investment Fundraising Group, where he began his fund placement career. Derek began his private equity career at AIG Capital Partners in Moscow and his career in financial services in the Financial Institutions Group of Salomon Brothers in New York.

Derek received a BA from Yale University and an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School. He is fluent in Russian and is Series 7, 63 and 24 registered with FINRA.

John Dominguez

Partner | San Francisco

John has a combination of investing and capital raising expertise in private equity. During his 15+ years as a private equity investor, John took a lead role in committing more than $3 billion of capital to private equity and alternative investments including buyout, venture capital, international private equity and natural resource investments on behalf of institutional clients.  

Prior to Bridge Haven, John managed his own firm NBridge Advisors advising a select group of private equity fund managers. John was also a Managing Director of IGI, a China-focused alternative investment firm investing with top-tier China-based fund managers investing in private equity, real asset and illiquid credit strategies. Previously John was a Managing Director with SVB Capital in Menlo Park, CA. At SVB Capital, John led the firm's investing activities in growth capital fund investments and also raised capital for SVB Capital funds. Prior to SVB Capital, John was with Hall Capital Partners in San Francisco, a privately-owned investment advisory firm serving family office, foundation & endowment clients. At Hall Capital, John served as Head of the Private Equity team leading the firm's research and investing activities in private equity and venture capital. Previously, John served as the first Director of Alternative Investments at the Public Employee's Retirement Association of Colorado where he led a team of professionals responsible for managing the pension funds private equity and natural resource portfolios. John also worked in the fixed-income investment department of Colorado PERA. Before joining Colorado PERA, John worked in fixed income capital markets and risk management positions with CoBank in Denver and before that he served as a bank examiner with the Office of Thrift Supervision in Denver.

John received a BS and MBA degree from the University of Colorado and is Series 79, 82 and 63 registered with FINRA.

Tim Goodale

Partner | London

Tim has over 25 years of experience in marketing credit and alternative strategies in Europe and the United States.  Since 2004, Tim and his teams have raised over $1.5 billion for a variety of private investment funds focused on distressed, private credit, credit hedge, private equity, venture capital and special situations.

Prior to Bridge Haven, Tim was Managing Director at Forbes Private Capital where he was the Head of Europe.  Tim was previously Managing Director and Head of European Sales at Aladdin Capital Management, a credit asset manager whose peak assets reached $18 billion during Tim’s employment.  Tim was responsible for building the European asset management, asset management sales, broker dealer, and managed account businesses.  Tim was also a Director at Cheyne Capital where he was instrumental in founding Cheyne's non ABS credit businesses.  Tim spent seven years at Goldman Sachs International, where he founded the credit dealer desk, subsequently helping to build the credit business with European banks and hedge funds.  Before Goldman Sachs, Tim was a founding member of the illiquid credit group at CEDEF Assets in Geneva and London.  

Tim received a BA in History from Yale University.  Tim is registered with the Financial Conduct Authority to work with clients in the United Kingdom and across the EMEA.
